Alan Hald/ex-President and CEO MicroAge

Alan Hald built a Fortune 500 technology services company from scratch - MicroAge. In 1976, Alan Hald co-founded MicroAge. Alan helped open one of the first computer stores in the nation. Spanning a 24 year period of time, he transitioned the company from start-up through explosive growth, hard times, re-organizations, strategy shifts and launching new ventures. MicroAge was a $4B company in the late 1990’s.

He now works with CEO's and entrepreneurs who are also taking their growth companies through similar challenging transitions. Most transitions are very disruptive and risky, whose outcomes are uncertain. Alan's unique experience, talent and perspective allow him to work with CEO's and facilitate the creative, teaming and execution activities needed to effect strategically focused change within a business under stress. Alan has ties to the local business environment, and currently has relationships with two legal services company.

Alan will be one of our lead contact development advisor connecting Pinpoint with the appropriate business leaders in Arizona. Alan will also be our marketing strategist making sure that we factor in appropriate business metrics when considering various market segments.

Tim Herring/President and CEO IntelliData, 1999 to current.

Tim has been in the electronic component business for over 21 years, after graduating from California State University, Chico in 1981. Most recently, Tim served as Director of Product Management for the Passive, Electromechanical, and Connector (PEMCO) division of Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW) earlier known as Capstone Electronics. For the 9 years that Tim was at Arrow, most of his time was spent in inventory management and in marketing passive components, specifically capacitors and resistors.

These 21 years of experience focus on the specific issues and complications of this segment of the electronic component industry and bring to IntelliData.net great product and solution leadership. During his time with IntelliData, Tim has helped lead the company to produce the passive component industry’s most innovative and cost saving solutions through the development of data content, e-commerce interfaces, and software. These products have attracted top tier customers in both component manufacturer and distributor segments.

Tim will be helping us with our ecommerce website.

Nanu Ramamrutham

Nanu has over 15 years of experience in product and project management, architecture, design, development, quality assurance, production support and maintenance. Nanu has built and directed technical teams in development and maintenance of data warehouse applications, and advanced real-time/mission-critical applications. Nanu has managed all phases of software development, deployment and resources management with a unique insight in building and motivating technical teams locally and/or overseas where he has started from scratch a complete development team.

At Lucent, Nanu provided end-to-end management for software projects – requirements, architecture, design, development, quality control, customer acceptance, and training. Projects included a PrePaid Card Management System for Wireless Prepaid Service, and an eCommerce Gateway System. At iCrossing, Nanu was responsible for the spider and search system defintion and implementation. /p>

Nanu has a Masters and Bachelor's Degree in CS. Nanu is a mentor/teacher at heart - delivered lectures at various education institutions - University of Phoenix, Phoenix College and DeVry.

Dr. Felix Hovsepian

Felix Hovsepian has degrees in mathematics, systems engineering and computer science. He has worked within the field of software engineering for more than 20 years focusing mainly on R&D projects – some of which have resulted in awards for innovation and technical leadership. His current research is focused on Event-Based Architectures and Intelligent Agents.

Dr. Hovsepian also has more than 15 years experience in teaching at the University level and has won accolades for his teaching style and ability both here and in Europe.

In addition to being an academic Dr. Hovsepian may also be found working as a technical architect, management consultant and expert witness for technology companies within Arizona.

Dr. Steve Gordon

Steve has a diverse experience in the theory and practice of computer science in business, industry, and academia.  Software development experience includes modeling and meta-modeling, the design and implementation of object-oriented, model-driven and rules-driven software, and managing and leading development teams using iterative, agile methodologies. Current agile methodology focus is Extreme Programmingwith Steve leading efforts in XP frameworks at Intel.

Steve completed his PhD dissertation in Natural Language Processing with a background in AI computation.

Steve will assist us in architectural development making sure that we do not go down technological blind alleys.
