Overview
To better serve Pinpoint customers' technical and support needs, Pinpoint provides non-optional software maintenance with each of its software search management solutions for the first year (maintenance is included in the purchase price). After the first year, software maintenance will be billed each year on the purchase anniversary date over the term of the product's installation and usage. Pricing for the annual maintenance contract is 18% of the purchase price of the Pinpoint SMS system plus any application modules and plug-ins added to the basic search management system.
Benefits and Services
Under Pinpoint's software maintenance agreement, the user will receive the following benefits and services:
- INSTALLATION SUPPORT. Unlimited initial installation telephone support for the first 30 days. After 30 days, a billing rate of $33.95/hour will be charged after an accumulation of 10 hours performing installation support.
- LIMITED TECHNICAL SERVICES SUPPORT. Technical service support time will be free for the first 30 days with a maintenance agreement. 20 hours of free limited technical services support is available after the first 30 days. Thereafter, service support will be billed at $33.95/hour. Technical service support time that is provided by Pinpoint without an annual software maintenance agreement is available on an hourly basis at $33.95 hourly rate with a minimum charge of two hours.
- SOFTWARE UPDATES. Any annual Pinpoint originated software updates, service packs, or bug fixes to the same operating system version of Pinpoint's search managment solution is free.
- DOCUMENTATION UPDATES. Any updates to the software's documentation is free. Notices and errata sheets are obviously included free also.
